The U.S. Chapter of the Reparations Labor Union has three levels of membership:
- General Membership - Eligibility Requirements: At least 1 great-grandparent must have been an African enslaved, or a descendant of an African enslaved during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade to the United States of America. The cost of this membership is $20 for the first year and $5 for subsequent years on the condition that the member's credit union savings account remains open. General Membership includes receiving reparations, $10 towards the opening of the labor union's credit union savings account through which reparations would be disbursed, voting rights, and quarterly e-newsletters.
- Teshuvah for Aliyah Premium Membership - Teshuvah is the Hebrew word meaning "return" or "repent". Aliyah is the Hebrew word meaning "to ascend". The Teshuvah for Aliyah Premium Membership refers to returning to and ascending to the Promised Land of Israel. This level of membership is reserved for black Jews who: 1.) Meet the eligibility requirements for General Membership in that you have at least 1 great-grandparent who was an African enslaved, or the descendant of an African enslaved during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade to the United States of America; and, 2.) Want to repatriate to any part of Africa, including the Land of Israel, in or around 2019. The cost of Aliyah Premium Membership is $25 for the first month and an additional $5 per month for assistance in converting/reverting to Judaism, on the condition that the member's Reparations Labor Union savings account maintains a $10 balance. Aliyah Premium Membership includes being among the first labor union members to receive reparations, $10 towards the opening of the labor union's credit union savings account through which reparations would be disbursed, a quarterly newsletter, preferred voting rights, and admission to online Judaism conversion/reversion/re-gathering classes.
- Wait List Scholarship - These are potential union members who cannot afford the union's dues. People on this scholarship list wait for donors to contribute enough to cover their union dues. There is no cost to be placed on the wait list, and no guarantee of when the scholarship would be funded. Scholarships will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis as donations make such possible.
