Reparations & Cooperative Economic Kwanzaa Program
Reparations is based on Scriptures that promote repairing, reconciling, and regathering the world. Hence, on the 4th day of Kwanzaa, the day devoted to the principle of Cooperative Economics, will be the day that the Reparations Labor Union and the Education and Social Action Committee of the Downtown Synagogue will host its first Kwanzaa Program.
There will be a brief program to discuss the Reparations Labor Union's vision. Then, we'll party. After all, repairing the world brings joy to the world. Isn't joy like a party?
Join us on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. EST for this historic event. Light refreshments (i.e., kosher snacks and desserts) will be served.
Bring the children, but you must be 21 for the adult beverages!
Please RSVP. We want to make sure we have enough snacks to serve the crowd!
