General Membership in the Reparations Labor Union is for those who want reparations but can't, or don't want to, leave the United States.
Eligibility Requirement for General Membership:
- You must have at least 1 great-grandparent who was an African enslaved, or a descendant of an African enslaved, during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade to the United States of America.
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You need not currently reside in the United States.
The cost of this membership is $20 per year. During the first year of union membership, $10 of the annual dues will be applied towards opening the member's credit union savings account. In subsequent years, $5 of the annual dues will be applied to the member's credit union savings account. General Membership includes receiving reparations, a credit union savings account through which reparations would be disbursed, a gold savings account, union voting rights, discounts on paid admission to various union events, and quarterly e-newsletters.
