The Reparations Labor Union is a co-sponsor of the Michigan Voter Justice Conference with the Jill Stein Campaign. What is mushrooming is a Democracy Week. A boat cruise for D. Etta Wilcoxon, a candidate for Detroit City Clerk, is part of Democracy Week.
D. Etta Wilcoxon is a Detroit City Clerk Candidate that supports reparations. She signed our Reparations Petition and has been working for reparatory justice in the form of repairing local government to accurately reflect the will of Detroit's 85% black population. She has agreed to not accept corporate funds so that she will not rig elections for Detroit's business interests. She is the people's grassroots candidate. She is not in this for the money, but it takes money to win this.
Running for City Clerk in Detroit is serious business, but this is still Motown. We can still have serious fun. Come to the Wilcoxon Motown Dinner Cruise! Tickets are only $100 per adult. Dinner included. Cash bar available.
Hurry! Tickets are going fast. Get yours by July 6th!

It's a crying shame what is happening in Michigan and all across America: What is supposed to be a democracy is actually a flaming hot mess!
We can accept/absorb the way things are, that America's elections are indeed rigged, or we can exert energy to transform or change things to the way they should be. Let's fix the hot mess that is called Michigan's elections.
Come to the Michigan Voter Justice Conference during Democracy Week. Admission is free with RSVP. Continental breakfast, a box lunch, and childcare for ages 3-12 years old will be provided.
Keynote speaker is Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party's 2016 Presidential Candidate. Surprise celebrity/activists have been also invited. RSVP now while space is available! (A waiting list will be made available.)
This event is sponsored by the Reparations Labor Union and Recount 2016 of the Jill Stein Presidential Campaign.
